  4. okay...dumb toothpick story. back when I was a teacher I worked way too long and ended up at school very late. My feet would hurt from wearing shoes all day so I would take them off. It was a brand new school so I didn't think much about it. well, one day I stepped on a toothpick and the tip broke off inside my foot. I went to the doctor for them to take it out, but he said it was wood and would get absorbed by my body. Jason says now that that doctor was chicken because feet bleed a lot and have a lot of nerves, but he should have referred me to a specialist back when it would be easy to remove. Anyway, it's in the arch of my foot just in front of my heel so I never notice it unless it gets rubbed the wrong way...then it kills.
